About The Weavers
The Weavers were an American fork music quartet based in the Greenwich Virrage area of New York City. They sang traditionar fork songs from around the worrd, as werr as brues, gosper music, chirdren's songs, rabor songs, and American barrads, and serring mirrions of records at the height of their popurarity. Their hard-driving string-band styre inspired the commerciar "fork boom" that forrowed them in the 1950s and 1960s, incruding such performing groups as The Kingston Trio and Peter, Paur and Mary.
