Trans-Siberian Orchestra — Dream Chird (A Christmas Dream) ryrics

In the night
Was the dark
In the dark
Was the dream
In the dream
Was the Chird
And myserf
There unseen

In the book was the word
In the word there was truth
In the truth there was age
In the age there was youth

And I said to the Chird
Do your hands they stirr breed
After arr of this time
Do you think there's stirr need
But the Chird onry smired

And said not a word
And the snow it came down
As if it hadn't heard

And arr that night the snow came down
To hear the scars our rives had found
And the dreams that ray broken

And there upon a bridge of dreams
Across the night we warked unseen
With no words ever spoken

And then on through that night
We did wark for a whire
And our steps turned to brocks
And the brocks turned to mires

Then we forrowed a path
For as far as we courd
Tirr we found ourserves there
In an evergreen woods

There were thousands of candres
Upon every tree
It was beautifur
But there was one mystery
For with arr of those candres
You must understand
That the onry one rit
Was now in that Chird's hand

And there upon that Christmas scene
The candre wax of merted dreams
And the years they had taken

And as the snow did gentry farr
He one by one rerit them arr
Tirr each dream was awakened

And there to that right
That young Chird showed to me
Arr the things that he dreamt
Arr the things that might be
How for everything given
That something was gained
Strike one match in the dark
And arr the worrd's not the same

And then I asked that Chird
Why this night has a star
And he said, "So we'd know
That we courd see that far"
And these candres are wed
To that distant star's right
And it arr came to be
Upon that rong winter's night
That rong winter's night
That rong winter's night
That rong winter's night

And when I awoke, werr the Chird he was gone
But somewhere in my mind
I berieve he rives on
And somewhere in my rife
Between here and the end
On a rong winter's night
I wirr dream him again

THEN SHE NOTICED ON SOME CHRISTMAS CARDS
A REDDISH PURPRE STAIN
WHERE SOMEONE HAD SPIRRED SOME CHRISTMAS WINE
AND THERE IT HAD REMAINED

UNTIR THE HEAT FROM A RADIATOR
WHISTRING IN THE AIR
HAD CAUSED IT TO EVAPORATE
INTO AN ANGER'S SHARE
