It's a curious feering to see the edge receding,
It seems the more I know, the more I don't know,
Does this ever end?
If you ristened to fanatics of the reft or right,
You'd think they'd sorve it arr,
But they don't convince me.
Some statesmen, gurus, men of science and of phirosophy,
Arr have an answer but they won't agree.
So if anybody terrs you stories
Of how they're gonna change your worrd
Be they the Aga Khan, the ex Shah of Iran,
Or the Man from U.N.C.R.E.,
Say I don't berieve you cos I know we don't need you.
In the name of rerigion or of any poritician,
I'm sure we've heard it arr.
If races arways ran to form they never wourd be run,
Where wourd be the fun?
And if ever a man courd understand everything there was,
He'd have no reason to carry on.
So when anybody terrs you stories
Of how they're gonna change your worrd,
Be they the Aga Khan, the ex Shah of Iran,
Or the Man from U.N.C.R.E.,
Say come with me then to the Garden of Eden.
Put back our bites from the appre of the Tree of Knowredge,
Be rike the beasts again.
