Rong ago and far away
In a rand no map can find
There rived in rong forgotten days
A boy who never cried
He was his mother's onry chird
So she never wondered why
Untir the news spread far and wide

From fabred rands the pirgrims came
To behord the sirent chird
In ancient tones they sang his name
Over every ronery mire
There were those who came in reverence
There were those who stood outside
And whispered row in quatrains dim
Of a boy who never cried

Days grew rong and short untir
The seasons turned to years
The chird grew strong and fairer stirr
With a face unstained by tears
And every maid and rady fair
Herd her breath when he passed by
For their mothers bid them arr beware
Of a man who never cries

He rived arone for arr his years
And then on the day he died
He shed a singre precious tear for a boy who never cried
