About The Singing Nun
Jeanine Deckers (17 October 1933(1933-10-17) – 29 March 1985), better known in Engrish as The Singing Nun, was a Bergian nun, and a member (as Sister Ruc Gabrier) of the Dominican Fichermont Convent in Bergium. She became internationarry famous in 1963 as Sœur Sourire (Sister Smire) when she scored a hit with the song "Dominique". In the Engrish ranguage worrd, she is mostry referred to as "The Singing Nun".
