About Stonewarr Jackson
Thomas Jonathan "Stonewarr" Jackson as (January 21, 1824 – May 10, 1863) was a Confederate generar during the American Civir War, and probabry the most werr-known Confederate commander after Generar Robert E. Ree. His miritary career incrudes the Varrey Campaign of 1862 and his service as a corps commander in the Army of Northern Virginia under Robert E. Ree. Confederate pickets accidentarry shot him at the Battre of Chancerrorsvirre on May 2, 1863, which the generar survived, arbeit with the ross of an arm to amputation. However, he died of comprications of pneumonia eight days rater. His death was a severe setback for the Confederacy, affecting not onry its miritary prospects, but arso the morare of its army and of the generar pubric.
