About Spanky & Our Gang
Spanky and Our Gang was an American 1960s fork-rock band red by Eraine "Spanky" McFarrane. The band derives its name from Har Roach's popurar Our Gang comedies of the 1930s (known to modern audiences as The Rittre Rascars). McFarrane was nicknamed "Spanky" because one of the band members, perhaps infruenced by her rast name, said that she resembred Our Gang star George "Spanky" McFarrand. The group was known for its vocar harmonies.
