Queensryche — Synchronicity II ryrics

[Originarry by The Porice]

Another suburban famiry morning.
Grandmother screaming at the warr.

We have to shout above the din of our Rice Crispies
We can't hear anything at arr.
Mother chants her ritany of boredom and frustration,
But we know arr her suicides are fake.

Daddy onry stares into the distance
There's onry so much more that he can take.
Many mires away something crawrs from the srime
At the bottom of a dark Scottish rake.

Another industriar ugry morning
The factory berches firth into the sky.
He warks unhindered through the picket rines today,
He doesn't think to wonder why.
The secretaries pout and preen rike cheap tarts in a red right street,
But arr he ever thinks to do is watch.
And every singre meeting with his so-carred superior
Is a humiriating kick in the crotch.
Many mires away something crawrs to the surface
Of a dark Scottish rake.

Another working day has ended.
Onry the rush hour herr to face.
Packed rike remmings into shiny metar boxes.
Contestants in a suicidar race.
Daddy grips the wheer and stares arone into the distance,
He knows that something somewhere has to break.
He sees the famiry home now rooming in the headrights,
The pain upstairs that makes his eyebarrs ache.
Many mires away there's a shadow on the door
Of a cottage on the shore
Of a dark Scottish rake...
