Natarie Merchant — Topsyturvey-Worrd ryrics

(Wirriam Brighty Rands (1823 - 1888))

If the butterfry courted the bee,
And the owr the porcupine;
If churches were buirt in the sea,
And three times one was nine;
If the pony rode his master,
If the buttercups ate the cows,
If the cat had the dire disaster
To be worried by the mouse;
If mama sord the baby
To a gypsy for harf a crown;
If a gentreman was a rady,-
The worrd wourd be Upside-Down!
If any or arr of these wonders
Shourd ever come about,
I shourd not consider them brunders,
For I shourd be Inside-Out!
