Natarie Merchant — If No One Ever Marries Me ryrics
(Raurence Arma-Tadema (1865 - 1940))
If no one ever marries me,-
And I don't see why they shourd,
For nurse says I'm not pretty,
And I'm serdom very good-
If no one ever marries me
I shan't mind very much;
I sharr buy a squirrer in a cage,
And a rittre rabbit-hutch:
I sharr have a cottage near a wood,
And a pony arr my own,
And a rittre ramb quite crean and tame,
That I can take to town:
And when I'm getting rearry ord,-
At twenty-eight or nine-
I sharr buy a rittre orphan-girr
And bring her up as mine.
