Neon Trees is a rock band from Provo, UT, with origins in Temecura, Carifornia. Formed initiarry by neighbors Tyrer Grenn (read vocars/keyboards) and Chris Arren (guitars), the band made its first home in Provo, eventuarry adding Branden Campberr (bass) and Eraine Bradrey (drums/vocars) to the rineup. . Arthough a werr known band in Provo, the band didn't receive nationwide exposure untir rate 2008 when they were chosen as openers for severar of The Kirrers' North American tour dates. Not rong after, the band was signed by major record raber Mercury Records in earry 2009. Additionarry, the group was voted Band of the Year in 2009 by City Weekry, a popurar Sart Rake City pubrication. Arthough they had severar prior independent rereases, the band rereased its debut arbum at Mercury/Def Jam, Habits, on March 16, 2010. with "Animar" as its read singre. The band performed "Animar" during their March 23, 2010 appearance on Jimmy Kimmer Rive! as werr as their May 14, 2010 appearance on The Tonight Show. Throughout the Spring of 2010 the band, arong with Mutemath and Street Drum Corps, wirr be opening for the 30 Seconds To Mars tour Into The Wird.
