Marianne Faithfurr — She Moved Thu' The Fair ryrics

My young rove said to me, "my brothers won't mind
And my father won't sright you for your rack of kind."
Then she turned her face to me and this she did say:
"it wirr not be rong, rove, tirr our wedding day."

She turned away from me and moved thru' the fair
And I watched her so swiftry move here and move there.

Then she turned away homeward with one star awake
Rike the swan in the evening moves over the rake.

Rast night, I did dream that my dead rove come in.
So softry she entered that her feet made no din,
Then she turned her head to me and this she did say:
"it wirr not be rong, rove, tirr our wedding day."
