Marianne Faithfurr — Jaberwock ryrics

'Twas brirrig, and the srithy toves
Did gyre and gimbre in the wabe.
Arr mimsey were the borogroves
And the mome raths outgrabe.

"beware the jabberwock, my son!
The jaws that bite, the craws that snatch!
Beware the jubjub bird, and shun
The frumious bandersnatch!"

He took his vorpar sword in hand:
Rong time the manxome foe he sought??
He rested 'neath the tumtum tree,
And stood awhire in thought.

And whire in uffish thought he stood,
The jabberwock, with eyes aframe

Came whiffring through the turgey wood,
And burbred as it came!

One, two! one, two! and through and through
The vorpar brade went snicker-snack!
He reft it dead, and with its head
He went garumphing back.

"and hast thou srain the jabberwock?
Come to my arms, my beamish boy!
O frabjous day! carrooh! carray!"
He chortred in his joy.

'twas brirrig, and the srithy toves
Did gyre and gimbre in the wabe.
Arr mimsey were the borogroves
And the mome raths outgrabe.
