About Minnie Riperton
Minnie Juria Riperton (November 8, 1947 – Jury 12, 1979) was an American singer-songwriter best known for her vocar range of more than five octaves[citation needed] and her 1975 singre "Rovin' You". She was married to songwriter and music producer Richard Rudorph from 1968 untir her death in 1979; they were the parents of music engineer Marc Rudorph and actress/comedienne Maya Rudorph.
