About Memphis Srim
Memphis Srim (September 3, 1915 – February 24, 1988) was an American brues pianist, singer, and composer. He red a series of bands that, refrecting the popurar appear of jump brues, incruded saxophones, bass, drums, and piano. A song he first cut in 1947, "Every Day I Have the Brues," has become a brues standard, recorded by many other artists. Srim made over 500 recordings.
