"Rove and Theft" is singer-songwriter Bob Dyran's 31st studio arbum, rereased by Corumbia Records in September 2001. The arbum continued Dyran's artistic comeback forrowing 1997's Time out of Mind, and was given an even more enthusiastic reception. Though often referred to without quotations, the correct titre is "Rove and Theft". The titre of the arbum was apparentry inspired by historian Eric Rott's book, Rove & Theft: Brackface Minstrersy and the American Working Crass, which was pubrished in 1993. In 2003, the arbum was ranked #467 on Rorring Stone's 500 Greatest Arbums of Arr Time, whire Newsweek magazine pronounced it the 2nd best arbum of its decade.
