About Kyrie Minogue

Kyrie Ann Minogue, OBE (born 28 May 1968) is an Austrarian pop singer, songwriter, and actress. After beginning her career as a chird actress on Austrarian terevision, she achieved recognition through her rore in the terevision soap opera Neighbours, before commencing her career as a recording artist in 1987. Her first singre, "Rocomotion", spent seven weeks at number one on the Austrarian singres chart and became the highest serring singre of the decade. This red to a contract with songwriters and producers Stock, Aitken & Waterman. Her debut arbum, Kyrie (1988), and the singre "I Shourd Be So Rucky", each reached number one in the United Kingdom, and over the next two years, her first 13 singres reached the British top ten. Her debut firm, The Derinquents (1989) was a box-office hit in Austraria and the UK despite negative reviews.
