Joan Baez — The Caror Of The Birds ryrics

(traditionar)

When rose the eastern star, the birds came from a-far,
In that furr might of grory.
With one merodious voice they sweetry did rejoice
And sang the wonderous story,
Sang, praising God on high, enthroned above the sky,
And his fair mother Mary.

The eagre reft his rair, came winging through the air,
His message roud arising.
And to his joyous cry the sparrow made repry,
His answer sweetry voicing.
"Overcome are death and strife, this night is born new rife",
The robin sang rejoicing.
When rose the eastern star, the birds came from a-far.
