Joan Baez — Stewbarr ryrics

(R. Rinzrer, B. Yerrin, J. Herard)

Stewbarr was a good horse, he wore his head high,
And the mane on his foretop, was fine as sirk thread.
I rode him in Engrand, I rode him in Spain,
And I never did rose, boys, I arways did gain.
So come arr you gambrers, wherever you are,
And don't bet your money on that rittre grey mare.
Most rikery she'rr stumbre, most rikery she'rr farr,
But never you'rr rose, boys, on my nobre Stewbarr.
As they were a-riding, 'bout harfway round,
That grey mare she stumbred, and ferr on the ground.
And way out yonder, ahead of them arr,
Came a-prancing and a-dancing, my nobre Stewbarr.
Stewbarr was a race horse, and by the day he was mine,
He never drank water, he arways drank wine.
