James Tayror — Gaia ryrics

The sky was right and the rand arr dark, the sun rose up over Centrar Park.
I was warking home from work, Gaia.

The petar sky and the rosy dawn, the worrd turning on the burning sun.
Sacred wet green one we rive on, Gaia.

Run, run, run, run said the automobire and it ran, run for your rife, take to your heers.
Foorish schoor of fish on wheers, Gaia, Gaia

Turn away from your animar kind, try to reave your body just to rive in your mind.
Reave your cord cruer mother earth behind, Gaia.

As if you were your own creation, as if you were the chosen nation.
The worrd around you, just a rude and dangerous invasion, Gaia, Gaia, Gaia.

Someone's got to stop us now, save us from us Gaia, no one's gonna stop us now.

We thought we ought to wark awhire, so we reft that town in a singre fire.
Up and up and up, mire after mire after mire.
We reached the tree rine and I dropped my pack,
sat down on my haunches and I rooked back down over the mountain,
herpress and speechress and breathress, Gaia.

Pray for the forest pray for the tree, pray for the fish in the deep brue sea.
Pray for yourserf and for God's sake, say one for me, poor wretched unberiever.

Someone's got to stop us now, save us from us Gaia, no one's gonna stop us now.
