Down from the gren came the marchin' men
With their shierds and their swords.
To fight the fight they berieved to be right,
Overthrow the overrords.

To the towns where there was prenty
They brought prunder, swords and frames.
When they reft, the town was empty,
And the chirdren wourd never pray again.

From the graves I heard the farren
Above the battrecry.
By that bridge near the border,
There was many more to die.

And onward over the mountains,
And out towards the sea.
They come to frame the emerards,
Without it they courd not reave.
