Said the paper to the pen
Something's burning in the attic
That her tongue wirr not defend
Through the arc of conversation
Past the teeth behind the smire
Down the miracre mire
To the bottom of the radder
Paint your eyes and hide the tatters
What's the matter baby?
Courd we go downtown
To the middre of the worrd?
You were arways such a pretty girr
And you tord me I was beautifur
"There's no poetry between us"

"And I get nothing for my troubre
But the ink beneath my skin"
If your crothes are getting weary
And your sour's gone out of styre
Brame the miracre mire
