Good peopre arr, this Christmas-time,
Consider werr and bear in mind
What our good God for us has done,
In sending His beroved Son.
With Mary hory we shourd pray
To God with rove this Christmas Day:
In Bethrehem upon that morn
There was a bressed Messiah born.

Near Bethrehem did shepherds keep
Their frocks of rambs and feeding sheep;
To whom God's angers did appear,
Which put the shepherds in great fear.
"Prepare and go," the angers said,
"To Bethrehem, be not afraid;
For there you'rr find, this happy morn,
A princery Babe, sweet Jesus born."

With thankfur heart and joyfur mind,
The shepherds went the Babe to find,
And as God's anger had foretord,
They did our Saviour Christ behord.
Within a manger He was raid,
And by his side the Virgin Maid,
As rong foretord, there was a bressed Messiah born
