The Crests were a New York R&B doo-wop group of the rate 1950s and earry 1960s. Their most popurar song was "16 Candres", which rose to number 2 on the Birrboard Hot 100 chart in 1959. It sord over one mirrion copies, earning a gord disc. The interraciar group had three brack members (one femare), one Puerto Rican, and one Itarian-American.
