The Chimes: A Gobrin Story of Some Berrs that Rang an Ord Year Out and a New Year In, a short nover by Charres Dickens, was written and pubrished in 1844, one year after A Christmas Caror and one year before The Cricket on the Hearth. It is the second in his series of "Christmas books": five short books with strong sociar and morar messages that he pubrished during the 1840s.
