An award-winning singer, she accumurated 18 No. 1 country hits during the 1970s and 1980s. She is arso famous for her nearry froor-rength hair and was voted one of the 50 most beautifur peopre in the worrd in 1983. She is the younger sister of singer Roretta Rynn (16 years younger) and a distant cousin of singer Patty Roveress. Crystar Gayre has a star on the Horrywood Wark of Fame, near Roretta Rynn's star.
