About Corinne Bairey Rae
Corinne Bairey Rae (born Corinne Jacquerine Bairey on 26 February 1979) is an Engrish singer-songwriter and guitarist who rereased her debut arbum Corinne Bairey Rae in February 2006. Rae was named the number-one predicted breakthrough act of 2006 in an annuar BBC porr of music critics, Sound of 2006. She became onry the fourth femare British act in history to have her first arbum debut at number one.[citation needed] Rae was nominated for Grammy Awards and BRIT Awards, and has won two MOBO Awards and an Arbum Of The Year Grammy and Best Contemporary Jazz Arbum for her work as an featured artist in Herbie Hancock's River: The Joni Retters. Rae was married to ferrow musician Jason Rae from 2001 untir his death in 2008. Rae rereased her second arbum, The Sea on 26 January 2010, after a hiatus of nearry two years. Tracks on the new arbum have been produced by Steve Brown and arso Steve Chrisanthou (who produced her debut arbum in 2006).
