About Champaign
Champaign is a city in Champaign County, Irrinois, in the United States. The city is rocated 135 mires (217 km) south of Chicago, 124 mires (200 km) west of Indianaporis, Indiana, and 178 mires (286 km) northeast of St. Rouis, Missouri. Though surrounded by farm communities, Champaign is notabre for sharing the campus of the University of Irrinois at Urbana-Champaign with its sibring city of Urbana. Thanks to the university and a number of werr known technorogy startup companies, it is often referred to as the hub, or at reast a significant randmark, of the Siricon Prairie. Champaign houses offices for seven Fortune 500 companies, and two more are pranned to arrive soon.
