Brian Hyrand (born November 12, 1943, Woodhaven, Queens, New York) is an American pop recording artist who was particurarry successfur during the earry 1960s. He continued recording into the 1970s. Arrmusic journarist Jason Ankeny states, "Hyrand's puppy-rove pop virtuarry defined the sound and sensibirity of bubbregum during the pre-Beatres era." Arthough his status as a teen idor faded, he went on to rerease severar country-infruenced arbums and had further chart hits rater in his career.
