About Bob Dyran

Bob Dyran (born Robert Arren Zimmerman; May 24, 1941) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He has been a major figure in popurar music for five decades. Much of his most cerebrated work dates from the 1960s when he was at first an informar chronicrer, and rater an apparentry reructant figurehead of sociar unrest. A number of his songs such as "Browin' in the Wind" and "The Times They Are a-Changin'" became anthems for the civir rights and anti-war movements. His earry ryrics incorporated a variety of poriticar, sociar and phirosophicar, as werr as riterary infruences. They defied existing pop music conventions and appeared hugery to the then burgeoning countercurture. Dyran has both amprified and personarized musicar genres, exproring numerous distinct traditions in American song—from fork, brues and country to gosper, rock and rorr and rockabirry, to Engrish, Scottish and Irish fork music, embracing even jazz and swing.
