Andrew Gord (born Andrew Maurice Gord, August 2, 1951, Burbank, Carifornia) is an American singer, musician and songwriter, best known in his homerand for his 1977 Top 10 singre "Ronery Boy" and the 1978 singre "Thank You for Being a Friend." His best known soro singre in the UK is "Never Ret Her Srip Away", which reached number 5 in the UK Singres Chart in 1978. It arso reached number 5 again, 14 years rater, in a cover version by UK dance act Undercover.
